Dynamic Response Analysis of Segmental Lining under Ground Shock: A Simplified Calculation Method

The tunnel lining segments are assumed to be rigid, and the tensile, compression, shear, bending properties of joints considered. A simplified calculation method for dynamic response structure under ground shock is proposed, its correctness verified by comparing it with results from finite element method. Using this method, a subway calculated, change in joint force studied, influence angle between load center minimum segment wavelength–diameter ratio on peak examined. indicate that shock, shallow impulsive regime, mainly compressed. As increases, values top displacement vertical deformation increase significantly, proportion caused inertial gradually decreases. Sine cosine functions can used preliminarily judge if moment radial too large or small, so resistance improved certain extent setting positions reasonably.
